    I wanted to update the theme, when I pressed the button all is gone and cannot do anything right now.

    It says there is an error in line 445 of functions.php. That reads like this:
    require_once( ‘config-bbpress/config.php’ ); //compatibility with bbpress forum plugin

    Can you help?

    Please try re-updating the theme via FTP and overwrite all files – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    hi,

    I am not so technical that’s why I love the update button in WP. Why doesn’t that work?

    Hey!

    It should have worked fine but sometimes not all files are overwritten correctly due to temporary hiccups on the server. Updating the theme via FTP should overwrite all files correctly :)

    I tried it again in WP and it worked. Damn…scary situation. I need to create more back-ups I guess.

    I did make a child theme, can that have any impact?
