Okay, I’ve updated two sites with the newest version of Enfold: 3.8.4 … Same problem with both.
once I’ve done this, I cannot load a page in the backend – frontend of site is fine. When you go to edit a page in the backend, the page, the layout builder just spins and spins, and page never will appear. With both sites, I re-uploaded an older version of Enfold, and then the problem was solved.
Please let me know when you have resolved this – I have a TON of installations of Enfold and I am not going to update any of them until it is. Thank you!
December 14, 2016 at 5:17 pm #724376Hey Eleina_Shinn!
Can you please post FTP logins and WP admin logins here privately so we can look into it?
Regards,
YigitDecember 20, 2016 at 6:36 pm #726718Okay, in private content, I’m going to provide these details to one of the sites where I encountered this problem with newest enfold…
Remember, it’s the backend that won’t load a page after the update, frontend looks fine… thank you, I’m holding off updating anymore sites until I get one or two working.
thanks so much!
December 20, 2016 at 8:12 pm #726747Hi,
This website is using Enfold 3.8. We are going to need to see the issue to be able to provide you a solution. Do you mind if we update the theme?
Best regards,
YigitDecember 20, 2016 at 9:10 pm #726772Yes, I went back to 3.8 because of the problem I had… so go ahead and update to newest version, then try editing a page – the edit page in backend just won’t load – tried on two sites, then went back to an earlier version of enfold and problem was immediately solved.
You have my full permission.
December 20, 2016 at 9:24 pm #726775Hi,
I updated the theme to the latest version 3.8.4 and added following code near top in wp-config.php file
define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false);
Please review your website now
Best regards,
YigitDecember 21, 2016 at 12:23 am #726841So do this on all sites when I update enfold?
December 21, 2016 at 12:26 am #726843Hi!
That should not be needed but if the same issue happens on other installations as well, then yes.
Regards,
YigitDecember 21, 2016 at 12:31 am #726846ok, it happened on two, but I’ll try another one.
