Hi,
I have a multi-language site with the animated countdown.
It works perfectly on the English version of the site. But when I show it on the French part of the site I would like to change the words into French. So Jours, Heures, Minutes, Secondes. Instead of days, hours etc.I have WPML but I just can’t figure out how to do it
Yor help is appeciated
Thanks!.December 15, 2016 at 12:25 am #724685Hey ehoogstad,
I have checked your site and it seems you have already done it. :)
Best regards,

Not quite… I had to work my way around it to get the job done because of a deadline.
As you might have noticed- it is not the regular Enfold animated countdown timer. I had to buy a plugin. If you visit the English version of the page, you can see the original enfold timer in action. And I would really still like to know how to translate those texts because it is a nice and sharp looking timer.
So yes – your help is still appreciated ;o)

use Loco Translate or Poedit to translate those text strings.

I have installed loco translate. But where do I find the text strings that go with the Enfold counter? I have looked under plugins, but it wasn’t listed there.

January 7, 2017 at 1:35 pm #730697Hi,
if you’re using a 3rd party plugin for your counter, then you need to ask plugin’s author how to translate it, if it’s not available in Loco Translate or Poedit. We have not experience with this plugin.

AndyJanuary 7, 2017 at 3:14 pm #730715I am talking and referring all this time to your own Enfold countdown counter.
The circular plugin was just meant as a temporary solution because I couldn’t get the Enfold counter to show the French words for days, hours minutes and seconds. So the question remains: is there a possibility to translate the Enfold countdown timer (as is shown on the UK version of the site – see link below) so that it can be displayed on the French part of the website as well?
January 9, 2017 at 1:28 pm #731118Hi,
it seems to work fine: http://i.imgur.com/orQm9FM.png
If it’s not the right element, then provide us a precise link where we can inspect the elements in question please.
Best regards,
