    Hello.
    I try to install a child-theme based on your child-theme download (kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/).
    I load a folder named “enfold-child” including the modified style.css, and a functions-php-file with no changes via FTP into the themes-folder.

    When it appears in the Theme-folder of my website it has been renamed to “Enfold Child”. I get the message ” Unsucsessful Themes. The theme is installed, but uncompleted. The parent theme is missing. Please install the parent-theme”.

    I have succsessfullly made this installation locally at my MAMP-testsite, so why doesn´t i work on my website?

    Hello,
    Just bought your well-designed theme. I am also having issues with the child theme. See details below. Read through the forums, spent hours troubleshooting, but can’t resolve the issue. Any suggestion to resolve the issue is appreciated.

    Broken Themes
    The following themes are installed but incomplete.
    Name Description
    Enfold Child The parent theme is missing. Please install the “enfold” parent theme. Delete

    Hi,

    @Nik Please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/update-theme-files-with-ftp/ and try re-installing the theme via FTP.

    If that too does not help, please start a new thread under Enfold sub forum and attach FTP and temporary admin logins in private content field so we can look into it :)
