    Hi,

How do I go updating the Layer Slider Plug In that came with the theme?

    Cheers

I have the same issue. I tried to activate the plugin for auto-updates by inserting the purchase code on the LayerSlider WP setup page in WordPress. I used the purchase code from both the Evanto purchase reciept and the “license certificate purchase code” download from my account on the Evanto website. The Envato purchase code is not accepted by the LayerSlider WP plugin in WordPress.

    Hi,

The Layer Slider is bundled with the theme so it can’t be updated individually unless you have a separate license for it. Please wait for the next theme update where the Layer Slider will be up to date as well.

    Hi Leon,

How do you know that the Layer Slider is responsible for malware on your site? Please try to overwrite the theme files with a fresh copy from your Themeforest account via FTP to see if that helps: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Hello Rikard,

When i deactivate the plugin the malware is not active. The malware is only active when the plugin is active

What do you think about that?

Can you figure out where te code is coming from?

    Kind regards,

    Hi Leon,

I’m not sure how you are able to deactivate only the Layer Slider individually? Anyway, overwriting the theme files completely via FTP should remove any malicious code inserted to the default files, did you try it out?

    Best regards,
    Rikard
