Hello.
I have tried all the steps from your suggested list, but nothing helped so far.
– cleared cache on 3 browsers – Firefox, Chrome, IE.
– checked on MS Win + Mac OSX (Firefox + Chrome)
– reinstalled Enfold theme – running 3.8
– reinstalled WP, running 4.6.1
– tried with all plugins switched offnone of the above helped.
Until recent or even last theme update all seemed fine. Now I cannot edit pages, as their content does not show. When I go Default Editor – it shows as text and then somehow dissapeares, showing no. of words/signs to be 0.
When trying to load pages content with Avia Layout Builder I only get spinning wheel and nothing else happens.
Could I ask for some guidance / help as to how to get this resolved pleaseDecember 7, 2016 at 7:24 am #721384Hey Arthur,
Thanks for the details but your Sucuri plugin is blocking access, could you lift the block temporarily maybe?
Best regards,
RikardDecember 7, 2016 at 9:22 am #721404Hi Richard;
Thank you for your prompt reply and sorry about Sucuri, completely forgot about it.
Is there a chance you provided me your IP or country you’re accessing from, so I could whitelist it ??
Recently the webpage got hacked and I am still on a radar of loads of bots which I am afraid if Sucuri is completely lifted, would make good use of it.
So an IP would be much preferred, but if this is not possible I can lift it if needs be.
Please advise.December 7, 2016 at 8:02 pm #721689I do not know if anyone of you guys has done sth already but all of a sudden it started working.
And I tell you what it seems to have been – a plugin ‘Limit Login Attempts’ had been set up like if the connection was Direct rather than through a proxy, which in my case is not true, as the site is behind a proxy/firewall, so each connection would be as through a proxy anyway. Switched that back to “through a proxy” and it started working. Don’t know however why if the plugin was deactivated, this setting was still standing (this is yet an assumption, as it did not work with disabled plugin either).
Anyway thank you ever so much for your support and help.December 8, 2016 at 5:17 am #721781 -
