Hello Dear Kriesi-Team
there is a conflict between Enfold & Events-Calendar from Modern Tribe.
Since this plugin is on your list of recommended plugins it should work seemless but unfortunalety there are some major issuesUsually there are some calender-templates integrated in the admin-area of the plugin – but there are not.
If i change the theme to twenty-something it works fine.I already contacted the guys from Modern Tribe.
They had a look into it and said that i have to contact you because its a conflict caused by Enfold .
Here you can see a screencast of the settings:

Regards MarcusDecember 2, 2016 at 4:44 pm #719798Hey MarcusJeroch!
You are currently using an older version of the theme. Please update Enfold to the latest version 3.8.1 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ and flush browser cache and refresh your page a few times – http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Hard_Refresh
Then please create a temporary admin login and post it here privately.

Regards MarcusDecember 6, 2016 at 2:10 pm #720994Hi, i’ve got the same problem.. Is there already a solution? I’m running all the latest versions already..
Kind regards, DaanDecember 7, 2016 at 1:29 pm #721472Hi,
this is the expected behavior. Enfold itself controls the appearance of it, so default stylesheets are not avaialble (otherwise it won’t work well with Enfold). Check this for more information: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/styling-events-calander/#post-501371

AndyDecember 8, 2016 at 2:49 pm #721996Hi Andy
Let us know which layout you want to achieve and we might be able to help you out with some css code.
To do so i need to change the theme, than try to figure out what style i need, remove it again, switch the theme again and meanwhile my clients will see my website looking in a state of chaos.
Hm…not sure if this is a way i like to go…In the other post you recommended to read, Ismael showed a way to remove the overrides from Enfold an said that i have to remove a part from functions.php
Since this will cause problems every time i update your theme i`d like to get a solution working with a child theme.
Can you please provide me a way to “override the override” by using my childthemes functions.php?Regards Marcus
December 9, 2016 at 3:28 pm #722458Hi,
instead you could simply do a quick mockup using Photoshop or any other software, so we can see the results you want to achieve and provide you some precise css code if possible.
Simply put your customizations of your functions.php into your child theme and you should go fine.
Best regards,
AndyDecember 10, 2016 at 4:33 pm #722713Hi Andy
you misunderstood me.I do NOT HAVE any customisations of my functions.php in my child theme
I WANT to GET some PHP for my functions.php in my child theme to disable the overwrite which is made by EnfoldRegards Marcus
December 12, 2016 at 3:44 pm #723196Hi,
Unfortunately it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However if its really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :).
However, we can still wait for your mockup, to see if we could help you with some simple css customizations or not.
Best regards,
AndyDecember 12, 2016 at 4:18 pm #723215Hi Andy
we had a chat with Modern Tribe and they said its just a few lines of quite simple PHP to enable the overrides.Regards Marcus

Regards MarcusDecember 13, 2016 at 3:47 pm #723763Hi,
I reopened it.
I found this: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/styling-events-calander/#post-501371
Hopefully it will help you!Best regards,
AndyDecember 23, 2016 at 4:15 pm #727986I already read that. It says:
” you have to modify the functions.php directly”
This will break with every future update.YOU overwrite the functions & styles from Events-Calender and now you call it “customizations to hire a freelancer for” to get rid of something YOU made??

December 24, 2016 at 10:55 am #728109Hi,
of course Kriesi has designed the theme the way it is right now. Unfortunately it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However if its really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
You can find good freelancers here: http://kriesi.at/contact/customizationBest regards,
