Hi,
I’ve been using Enfold for a while now for my photography website and now I’d like to create something like a client login page. A page here a client can enter the password they get from me and get directed to their portfolio or gallery of pictures taken of them.
I know it’s possible to create a Page with a gallery and make that page password protected, but then I’d have to send each customer a separate page link etc.
Is it possible to create one page with a password entry box/field and then the customer gets taken to his portfolio based on the password given?I’ve seen it done on a few other photography sites/templates, but of course I’d like to stay with the best…….Enfold.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Tdako.December 5, 2016 at 5:09 pm #720544Hey Tdako,
I am not sure if i understood the changes you would like to make clearly however it sounds like you need a plugin such as this one – https://woocommerce.com/products/product-vendors/. If so, please make sure to contact plugin authors and ask if those features would be possible, to be on the safe side.
Best regards,
YigitDecember 5, 2016 at 5:43 pm #720563Hi Digit,
Thanks very much for your reply.
I’m not sure that’s what I’m looking for, although the plugin you mention does give me some other ideas…..😉.
Maybe I can show you what I mean. If you go to this site, in the menu at the far right, you have the link Clients. If you mouseover, you have some options in the dropdown menu. What I’m looking to create is the Archive, Login and maybe Proofing ideas they have there.
I think the Archive links can be created to pages with a password protection. But the login, where each client needs to go to one frontend page. Is this possible in Enfold or would I need a plugin for that? Or is this just the normal wp-login.php page that has been redesigned?
Thanks again

Thank you for the update. This will require a certain type of “membership” plugin but I’m not sure if they can upload images or galleries on their profile page. Please try one of these plugins.

IsmaelDecember 8, 2016 at 11:18 am #721893Hi Ismael,
Thanks very much for the links. I forgot to mention what I would be needing such an option for. Basically, after I’ve done a photo shoot, I would make a page for the customer, then they go to this login page and after entering the password they receive from me, it will take them to their respective page to view their images.
I think the users-trial plugin looks like a good one. I’ll give it a try.
Thanks again.

Yes, I think those plugins will help but you will have to allow or restrict the users manually if you’re planning to create a custom page for each user.
Best regards,
