I’m setting up a site using the template that contains menu subtitles. http://sv.avscvlta.com/
According to this thread, I should see a “Description” field: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-can-i-change-the-subtitle-text-under-a-menu-item/
I can’t find that field though. This is all I see: http://avscvlta.com/menus.png
Hi yoolma!
Please go to Appearance > Menus and click Screen Options and check “Description” and edit your text in description field – http://i.imgur.com/mjg0bd5.png
If you still cannot find, please create a temporary admin login and post it here privately.
Cheers!

I still can’t find the “Description” field.
I did notice in your screenshot that your menu item type is “Custom.”
When I imported the sample content, my menu items were type “Page.” I’ve also tried the “Custom Links” menu type. Neither of them have the “Description” field. But I can’t find the “Custom” type from your example.
I found the answer to the problem just now:
On the Appearance > Menus page, go to “Screen Options” on the top-right corner. There you’ll find a toggle for “Description.”
Hi,
Great, glad you found that option and thanks for sharing :-)
Please let us know if you should need any further help on the topic.
Best regards,

Hi Rikard,
I am using the ‘Flat Business’ version of Enfold, and tried the mentioned steps. I added the subtitle to my description field, however it did not show up under the menu item. What can be the reason?
Hi,
Currently only side headers support menu descriptions. However you can refer to this post for a workaround – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/word-wrap-in-menu-or-have-the-menu-on-two-lines/
