    Hello,

    I noticed that I can set a custom link to my portfolio images so that if the image is clicked, it will send the user to the corresponding link destination. I would like to make this custom link a visible text link (“View Product” in my case), so that the user would click on the actual link itself and not the the image itself. Which file would I need to edit to achieve this? I’ve noticed some other wordpress themes have a magnifying glass icon and a link icon that show whenever a user hovers over the image and am wanting to create a similar effect.

    Hi,

    unfortunately it won’t be easily possible as long as you’re using Masonry element.

    If I were to use another display it could work? As for the current situation, I think the link is wrapping the image (creating the entire image as a link) and I might want to place the link inside, but not wrapping, the image. Is there a place I could edit that feature?

    Hi,

    you could use a Masonry Gallery element instead and when editing your gallery images then use html inside image title element:
