    I would like to change the Icon like in this thread:

    Replacing Twitter with LinkedIn Icon in the Interesting LInks Footer Widget

    … but the suggestions her don´t work for me. So I will ask for a more simple way: Just copying the rendered HTML:

    … and change the icons. But I don´t know how to change them? Do you have an idea?

    Linkedin icon shows up just fine on my end. Please flush browser cache and refresh your page a few times.
    If that does not help, please elaborate on the changes you would like to make.

    I created a private testing page and added icon and then inspected elements on the page and copied that square – http://i.imgur.com/5x9j1FN.png :)
