    As the title says, I’d like to hide the Portfolio Category when using the Post slider. I’ve tried:

    span.blog-categories.minor-meta {
    display: none;
    }
    .slide-content .blog-categories.minor-meta {
    display: none;
    }
    .blog-categories { display: none !important; }

    to no avail

    Hah! Strange – I’d checked and tit was still there …. on two browsers …. maybe I just need patience!

    That must be caching related issue :)
    Please flush browser cache and refresh your page a few times after making changes on your site – http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Hard_Refresh
