Good morning,
Is there a way to completely remove and disable the blog feature?
Thanks!
November 5, 2016 at 8:43 am #708604Hi Chris,
Did you try simply deleting them under the Pages menu? If that is not what you are looking to do then please try to explain a bit further.
Best regards,
RikardNovember 7, 2016 at 6:21 pm #709407That’s part of the problem… the pages don’t exist, therefore I cannot simply delete them…
November 7, 2016 at 9:50 pm #709478Hi,
If you do not want the default blog to show when someone visit your site… Please create a new page and add your custom message or content and set it as homepage from Enfold > Theme Options

VinayNovember 7, 2016 at 9:52 pm #709482Hi there,
I do not have a blog enabled at all on the current homepage. There are these two “pages” that appear, but they don’t exist.

Please send us a temporary admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

November 10, 2016 at 7:10 am #710551Hi,
Thanks for the login details, those are media attachment pages. They are created automatically when you upload an image for example so it’s nothing to worry about. If you are not using the images in question then you can delete them and the media page should disappear as well.
Best regards,
RikardNovember 10, 2016 at 10:42 pm #710924I do use those as featured images in a slider on our main page. Perhaps I need to rename them and then delete the known name ones.
November 11, 2016 at 1:03 am #710942I renamed them and the affected pages still exist – with the new titles of the images.
Is there any way to turn this functionality completely off in that it doesn’t create these pages automatically, or allow blog entries on them?
November 14, 2016 at 5:51 am #711774Hey!
I’m sorry but you cannot disable it unless you want to mess around with the database. One workaround is to redirect those pages to the posts where the images are attached.

You will need the following plugin.
