    I copied the iframe code from piwik admin here => http://www.maikebreitfeld.de/impressum/ (at the end of section “Datenschutzerklärung für die Nutzung von Piwik”) but it is empty.

    The source code looks like this:
    <section class="avia_codeblock_section avia_code_block_0" itemscope="itemscope" itemtype="https://schema.org/CreativeWork" ><div class='avia_codeblock ' itemprop="text" > <div id="piwik_opt_out"><iframe style="border: 0; height: 300px; width: 550px;" src="http://www.maikebreitfeld.de/piwik/index.php?module=CoreAdminHome&action=optOut&language=de"></iframe></div> </div></section>

    If I put this piece of code into a html page and open it in a browser window, the iframe with its content shows. Also, the URL http://www.maikebreitfeld.de/piwik/index.php?module=CoreAdminHome&action=optOut&language=de opened in a browser window shows some content.

    Any ideas why the iframe on http://www.maikebreitfeld.de/impressum/ is empty?

    Hey Maikebreitfeld,

    Please try to add the custom code in a code block element to a page. If you still have any issue post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    Login credentials include:

    • The URL to the login screen.
    • A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
    • As well as a password for that username.
    • permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.

    Thanks for your fast response. The custom code is already in a code block. Thank you for your willingness to take a look at the backend. All you need for that is in the private content field.

    Thanks for the login details, the ones I posted in private are working. I see the following error message but I’m not sure I understand what it means?

    Das Tracking ist bei Ihnen derzeit nicht aktiv, denn Ihr Browser hat uns mitgeteilt, dass Sie kein Tracking wünschen. Hierbei handelt es sich um eine Browsereinstellung. Um das Tracking wieder zu aktivieren, müssen Sie die sogenannte “Do Not Track”-Einstellung in Ihren Browsereinstellungen deaktivieren.

    Hi,

    Thanks for taking care of the issue. It’s all good now. The error message is just a message that tracking is disabled, which is ok. Meanwhile I found out that the iframe is empty in Firefox with certain privacy settings, but not in other browsers.

    Hello,

    I have the same issue Christina had.
    My iFrame with the opt out function from PIWIK/Matomo is a big white (empty?) box.
    The pure link to the opt out function itself is working. I can copy it in the browser adrressfield and you will see the text with the function.
    I tried with various brouwser (Chrome, edge and chrome on a mobile device), but all empty/White.
    I’m using the enfold theme and are looking Forward to a hint to proceed further.

    Hi Babette,

    There are errors in console, mixed content and Failed to load resource: net::ERR_SSL_UNRECOGNIZED_NAME_ALERT
    This can be related to your SSL certificate. The piwik is requesting some content over http and not https, that could be the issue.

    thank you for the answer. That sound’s like a Problem I couldn’t solve by myself. To be secure I will shut down the tracking so far.

    Hi,
    Thank you for your Support.
    We changed the SSL encryption on the statistic webside an now it’s working.
    Without you hint I had have no idea. Now it is working. All sides on SSL helps a lot.
