I have only “Text” view and no edit menus for blog posts.

This is true for existing and new posts.

When I click on “Visual” nothing happens.
When I click on “Advanced Layout Editor” nothing happens.
Additionally, when I click on “Screen Options” nothing happens.

Please advise asap.

Hey!

You are currently using an older version of the theme. Please update Enfold to the latest version 3.8 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ and flush browser cache and refresh your page a few times – http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Hard_Refresh

Then why do I not get a prompt to update (after following your instructions http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/)??

Then why do I see this when I go to the Enfold Theme page in my WP editor:

Theme Updates

No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (3.7.1)

????

And why do I still not have access to the Visual editor???

Please advise asap.

Hi,

Please try this plugin to clear WordPress transients if you do not receive auto updates and make sure your API key is correct: https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/.

If it does not help, I am afraid you might need to update the theme manually – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

Unfortunately not all Server environments are able to make use of the auto update feature provided by ThemeForest :/
