    Hello there ! I’ve got a little problem :
I recovered this website managing : http://www.didierpenot.fr , and I’ve got the FTP and WP access, so I did a few month ago some modifications, and the “enfold” theme had been purchased and installed by another webmaster, wich has dissappeared since.
At that moment, the Enfold theme was perfectly working, but last week I had to make some modifications … And the builder doesnt appear anymore … I just see a wainting icon instead, and I neither can’t click on “default editor” . On portfolios posts there are also bugs for example I can’t choose featured images or galleries.
I can’t update the theme or send a ticket to ask for help : Of course, the first webmaster didnt gave the purchase code or anything that could help me to contact you otherwise than with this contact form …
is there any chance that I could have access to an update or to the support for helping to fix my problem ?
FYI, i already tried to disable/reable all plugins, with no effect.

Thank you so much by advance,
    Eva

    Hey MARTIN Eva,

You would have to contact Envato/Themeforest for any questions about access to your downloads. About your builder problems, please try following this: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/my-enfold-layout-builder-is-not-loading-properly/

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Sorry but I’m not sure what you mean by that, what is hidden for you? You mean the pages on Themeforest?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Yes. If I click on the link, it redirects me to a 404 page. And I can’t see the real link but a blue sentence that says “(Purchase code hidden if logged out) “

    Hi!

You are not able to see the links because you are not logged in. Please register to our forum – https://kriesi.at/support/register/ and login so you can see the links properly :)

    Cheers!

Yes, I undersatnd that, but I’m not the person who bought the theme, so I can’t get the purchase code via the themeforest account that would allow me to see your links.
Is there any way I could subscribe without purchase code ?
Or Is there a way I can find the purchase code somewhere in my FTP theme folder ?

thank you so much for helping :)

    Hi,

You are currently using a very old version of the theme. Please update Enfold to the latest version 3.8 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ and flush browser cache and refresh your page a few times – http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Hard_Refresh

Unfortunately, it is only possible to register to our support forum using a valid purchase code.

    Best regards,
    Yigit

Well I would love to do that and I would have wished I could, but without the user name and the API key (both available only if I had the credentials of the original buyer of the theme) I can’t do nothing.
The only access I’ve got are the FTP, DB and wp-admin credentials, wich is not too bad, but if there is no solution to access those themeforest credentials by searching in that datas, I think I’ll have to install another theme …

    Hey!

I am afraid the only way to get full support and theme updates is by having access to a Themeforest account which was used to purchase the theme.

The easiest way would be to get in touch with your developer and ask him for the purchase code and an API key. That would allow you to create a forum account here (one that got access to more than the pre-sale question area) and would also allow you to update the theme from your backend.

If you cant get in touch with your developer for whatever reason, you can also try to contact Envato support and ask them if its possible for them to credit the purchase to a Themeforest account of your own: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
However this will probably only work if your developer already sent you a payment receipt or something similar for the purchase.

Last option would be to create a themeforest account of your own and use it to re-purchase the theme.

I hope one of the first two options works out for you, but unfortunately we can’t help until we have a valid verification that the theme was purchased properly. This is necessary for us, since there are quite a few people out there who don’t buy the theme on themeforest and instead download it for free on illegal file sharing sites and then even have the audacity to ask us for support.

    Sorry for that!

    Best regards,
    Yigit

I absolutely understand the legal problem you’re facing, and like you I’m quite sure themeforest won’t just give me the purchase code, considering the previous webmaster just got mad at my customer and won’t answer to my e-mails (I tried before bothering you ) …
I think I’ll rather change the theme, since I’ve been working for a long time now woth Themify, wich authorize unlimited licences for their themes …
This was a chance for you to try convert me to Enfold :P

Have a nice day and thank you very much for spending time trying to help mé !
