    Hi there,

I know that this question already exists and I already did this a long time ago, but I dont get it. Sorry!
How can I put a normal button to a advanced layer slider? Within a slide?

    Thank you so much,
    Sonne

    Hi,

you just add a new text element into your layerslider, then just open “Link & Attributes” and provide your text element a link. Finally you can open “Style” tab, to add some button styles into it.

    Hi there,

but doesnt it work with the code in the link mentioned above from Ismael?

… and why does it look in the preview different? I did it like you told me, but actually it is a text with a link and a colored background or? It doesnt show the color in the preview.

.. but all in all it is no button it is only a text with a link, am I right?

    Thank you so much!

    Hi,

That is an old thread and there’s a lot of changes with the button shortcode. Please generate the button shortcode in a temporary page or post using the shortcode wand or the Insert Theme Shortcode button. Copy it then place it inside a layer. Note that you won’t be able to see the actual button in the slider preview but it should work in the frontend. If you need help with it, please post the login details so that we can make an example.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi!

If you go to create a new page, from WordPress you can there see the list of the codes and use what you want.
After that, it will be really easy to get things going.

let us know if we can do anything else

    Cheers!
