    I was trying to update the theme from version 3.7 to 3.8 (WP 4.6.1) and got the error “An error occurred while updating Enfold: Download failed. Forbidden”. How can I fix it, please?

    Hi mosaicmediaeu!

    Please check either your Envato API Access or your wp-content folder if it has CHMOD of 775.

    So I double-checked and it is 775. I’ve generated a new Envato API key (the old one was correct though). However, I don’t see the option to update to 3.8 anymore and it says that 3.7.1 is the latest version. Did you guys roll back the update or is there some problem with my API key?

    I realized one thing. We have created a copy of the website and put it to another domain. I’m thinking whether that could possibly cause the issue? The license that we purchased includes only one domain, correct?

    That would likely be the issue yes, one licence is only valid for one domain unfortunately.
