    Hi,
I’m new to child themes, but I have been using enfold for about a year now.

I wanted to ask a question about quick css.

If I add quick css to my child theme, does it work, or do I have to put everything in the styles.css file now?

    Thanks
    Jon

    Hey Jon!

You can use both Quick CSS field in Enfold theme options > General Styling and Style.css file of your child theme.
I personally would recommend you to use style.css file of your child theme in case you accidentally reset theme options :)

    Best regards,

    Hi Yigit,

Thanks for that. I like the speed of quick CSS because often I get it wrong and have to keep changing it! (I’m a graphic designer who works on print mainly). Would it be good practice that once a site is complete to cut the quick css and paste into styles.css? That way I can continue working the way I normally do, but safeguard against resetting theme options once the site is built.

    Appreciate your thoughts on this

    Thanks again,
    Jon

    Hey!

Sure! Just in case you did not know, you can edit style.css file of your child theme in Appearance > Editor. You do not need to access via FTP each time you would like to adjust CSS :)

    Cheers!
