    Hello,

    Is there a page where I can download older versions of Enfold? I would like to do some incremental updates to an older version so I don’t break the site.

    I am currently on version 3.4.3, which is around 1 year old.

    It seems as though there are some major updates in between 3.4.3 and 3.8.
    I will take versions:
    3.4.7
    3.5
    3.5.4
    3.6
    3.7

    … and from there i can do the 3.8 upgrade through the updater.

    Sound like a plan?

    Hey!

    I only have older versions than 3.0 unfortunately. However you can just go ahead and update the theme to the 3.8 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. You are going to need to worry about WordPress compatibility as well if you want to update step by step and things will break multiple times. Instead you can update to 3.8 and WordPress to the latest version 4.6.1.

    I am already at WordPress version 4.6.1.

    So are you saying to go ahead and update Enfold directly from version 3.4.3 to version 3.8?

    With that big of an update, I fear there will be some things that will break, but I guess we will see…

    Are there any database updates required? So if I do update to 3.8, I can just re-upload my 3.4.3 backup and be good?

    Hi,

    There are no database updates required by the theme, only by WordPress. If you are unsure if the update will work or not I would try doing it on a local or staging environment first to see that everything works as expected.
