My host reported the following:
Both the UpDraft, and the general WordPress issue with editing are caused by the same thing – your theme.
Something within your theme is breaking the WordPress backend functions, and according to the UpDraft help page this has something to with some JavaScript being forced incorrectly.
I temporarily switched to a default theme – twentyfourteen, and both updraft and editng were responsive again.
You should try to reinstall the theme to see if a newer version of it, or a fresh one at least, will resolve the problem.
Alternatively you can contact the theme developer and ask them if there’s anything special that needs to be done to allow the back-end to work as expected.
September 29, 2016 at 2:52 pm #693124What kind of support am I paying for? My support request has gone unanswered for 2 days. Meanwhile, I can’t update my site. Very disappointing!
September 29, 2016 at 3:03 pm #693129Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. Can you please try re-updating the theme via FTP and overwrite all files – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/?
Best regards,
YigitSeptember 29, 2016 at 4:35 pm #693214I re updated the theme via FTP overwriting all of the files. This did not correct the problem.
September 29, 2016 at 8:28 pm #693349Hi,
Could you please post FTP logins here privately as well?
You have two Enfold main theme and two child themes on your installation. Redundant ones should be removed.
We do not support 3rd party plugins, however we do not mind taking a quick look.Best regards,
YigitSeptember 29, 2016 at 8:54 pm #693370The FTP credentials are below.
All redundant themes have been removed and the problem persists.

September 29, 2016 at 10:13 pm #693406Hey!
The theme is updated properly, but you do have a cache active, that does make those issues stand out.
Please clear your browser cache and give it a try again.
If it keeps happening, the issue will be strange, because enfold does call any backend JS, only on the pages that is needed. Please try a different browser and let us know please
Best regards,
BasilisSeptember 30, 2016 at 1:28 am #693456I have used a new browser and the problem persists. In addition to backup issues, I can not update ANY page on my site.
You have the login credentials to see this on your end.
As the host reported, the problem is resolved only by changing the them from Enfold.
September 30, 2016 at 11:49 pm #694077I reported this Tuesday and I still haven’t had any kind of resolution. The response time has been horrible and my site can’t be backed or updated as long as I’m using the Enfold them.
I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT ENFOLD WAS A SUPPORTED PRODUCT!
October 1, 2016 at 1:10 am #694105Hi!
Please add this line to wp-config.php:
define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false);
FTP access provided is not properly set (points to empty directory).
Regards,
JosueOctober 3, 2016 at 2:34 pm #694633This modification didn’t work.
Please try logging in via ftp again.
October 4, 2016 at 12:17 am #694806Hi,
