    When a client enters some german vowels like äöü ÖÄÜ and submit the form, they get completly removed from mail.

    Example:
    ...konnte für meine Sammlung grössere Proben schönster Nüsse mitnehmen.

    ...konnte fr meine Sammlung grssere Proben schnster Nsse mitnehmen.

    Can this be fixed?

    Hey BlutVampir,

    Can you please post the link to your website so we can check the version you are using? We might need a temporary admin logins as well.
    That should not happen as Kriesi’s mother tongue is German and he would notice if there was such an issue. Let us look into it.

    Hi,

    I checked the site and the form deletes the german vowels. Please try using a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/ and let us know if that helps.

    with cf7 it works yes, but I would like to use the build in feature, otherwise I will need to replace forms on mutliple sites.
