Dear Kriesi Support,
After searching through almost all posts regarding this topic here I can’t manage to get sharp displaying of my 1920×1024 pictures in the full width easy slider. I changed the max pictures sizes in the Enfold settings to enable uploading 1920×1024 in the media library and the full width easy slider let me specify this desired resolution. However the content is displayed much smaller on the website. When I change the full width easy slider size property setting to “stretch the image” then the pictures become way too unsharp. How to get the full size pictures sharp?!
Thanks in advance for your solution.

Could you post a link to the site in question so that we can take a closer look please?
Thanks,
RikardSeptember 14, 2016 at 8:40 am #686205Hi Rikard,
Great you want to take a closer look. See details in private section below. The problem is that the originally sharp 1900×1024 pictures become unsharp in the full width slider.
Thanks in advance!
PeterSeptember 17, 2016 at 7:17 pm #687984Hi,
I tried to troubleshoot this issue but the login credentials you provided do not work for me. Would you mind checking once again and then send us working login credentials?
The user role for the account you send us should be set to ‘administrator’ so we can try to disable all plugins and add custom code (if necessary) to resolve the issue.
Best regards,

September 18, 2016 at 6:17 am #688040Hi,
Thank you for the credentials, I checked your site. There are 2 reasons why this is happening.
1. WordPress optimize the images a bit to load them faster and the image quality will be reduced a bit.
2. When a image is stretched to fit the browser width it is basically enlarged or zoomed to fir the screen hence will look a bit blur.I created a test slider for you with high resolution images and it looks great. Your images are not of high quality it don’t have many pixels in it even tho it is a large size image. What I’m trying to say is that it has already been optimised so it looks blur when it is further optimised by wordpress and stretched to fit the screen.

Thanks for your answer on Sunday! I will continue experiment with the slider with higher resolutions/details. I will post my results later here in this post for other users.

VinaySeptember 19, 2016 at 10:11 pm #688831Hi Vinay,
Did some more experimenting with the full width slider. Whatever I try I do nog manage to get sharp pictures (like the original 1900×1024, of even much bigger (i.e. 3830x 2064) won’t stay sharp in de slider. All bigger sizes stays in the dimension settings of the enfold site settings (General Layout – Dimensions tabpage) which is default set to 1310px.I have tried to increase this size without effect.
Also tried with:
.responsive .container {
max-width: 1130%;
}
as mentioned elsewhere here as a solution on the Support pages.Summarized: every picture size will not be full size except when using the setting “Stretch image to fit the slideshow size” to yes. But in that case the picture becomes unsharp.
Is there any solution for this. Many users must have face this problem(?).
My workaround might be using the Advanced Layerslider instead.
Thanks for further investigation and efforts in advance.
Kind regards,
PeterSeptember 23, 2016 at 2:39 pm #690759Hi,
I checked 1.) but it seems you’re using LayerSlider already. I also checked 2.) but page is not available anymore.
Wordpress is cropping images by default when uploading them and if you want to control this behavior you can use a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes
I hope this will help :).Also these are all image sizes for Enfold:https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-image-sizes/#post-336176. Adjust them as needed.

AndyOctober 30, 2023 at 12:35 pm #1424117Hello,
I have the same problem! The images in the full width slider are shown blurred although the size is big enough. I noticed that I cannot choose “original size” like I can when I normally insert pictures – there I have a great variety of choices for the image size (like original size, featured, gallery and so on). When using the full width slider those options are not shown, so I don’t know what image size the system takes. Is there any solution to this by now? Many thanks!
