On one of my new websites, we are trying to get the Google Maps element to work, but it doesnt seem like it wants to..
We have an API keep installed and that is all set up correctly, wordpress and enfold are current the latest versions.

September 6, 2016 at 10:38 am #682525Hi, i have the same problem, i’m working in the latest enfold and wp versions, my API Key is ok but it doesn’t works.
Do you have any solution? Thank you!September 6, 2016 at 11:16 pm #682889I’ve been struggling with this for 4 weeks after updating Enfold on 2 of my sites, wish I wouldn’t have updated them and am holding off on the others.
Here is the fix they recommend, although it hasn’t worked for me http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-register-a-google-maps-api-key/September 7, 2016 at 8:29 pm #683350Hi,
We are happy to help! please do not post in multiple tickets it will delay the response. As suggested in the other ticket post your login details so we can take a closer look at your site backend and further investigate this issue.

September 8, 2016 at 8:26 am #683547Hi,
Thank you for the credentials. I noticed the below error in console. Usually this happens when a html tag is not closed properly. However in your case it appears that some files may be corrupt.
[AVIA-LOG] Map creation stopped, var av_google_map not found
I am afraid you might need to replace the theme files with a fresh copy of the theme downloaded from themeforest manually – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

However, the easy 30-second workaround to Google’s confusing menu system is to skip the Google route and enter the coordinates manually by searching with this tool.

If you want to mine through the Google Maps settings, find the Geocoding Service API and enable it which now seems to be disabled by default.
