Hi,
We have a few tables on our site and it would seen the latest version breaks the tables by making each field the same size, where as before they where dynamic based on the data contentAK
August 31, 2016 at 3:59 pm #680059Hi we just downgraded from 3.7.1 back to 3.3.2 and it works, so there is something with 3.7.1 breaking the tables

October 16, 2016 at 10:33 pm #699719we have just upgraded the site to 3.8
October 18, 2016 at 10:16 am #700538Hi akaracing,
Kindly add this code snippet to Quick CSS (under Enfold Theme Options > General Styling):
.home .avia-table { width: auto; }
if it doesn’t work try replace the code with this:
.home .avia-table { width: auto !important; }
If this works, I can definitely say it’s safe to use the latest version without the table breaking, if there are still any issues please let us know :)
Best regards,

NikkoNovember 22, 2016 at 11:50 pm #715662Hi We tried it on another site
http://www.fluffycloudhosting.com/cookie-policy
There you will see the same problem as the other site, all the table fields get the same size
If you wan login let me know and we will set up an account
November 23, 2016 at 12:00 am #715665we have had to remove the CSS fro the FluffyCloudHosting.com, as it was upsetting the front page layout
November 23, 2016 at 1:34 pm #715901Hi
Did you look at the screen shots i provided???
They you can see clearly the difference between the 2 tables.
We can’t add that bit off css as it move the table on the screen and not the content of the tables.
Please look at the screen shots

November 27, 2016 at 7:03 am #717378Hi,
The table is actually working the same on our installation so I’m not sure what’s wrong with yours. Is this is an old table shortcode? Please try to regenerate it or create it from scratch.

IsmaelNovember 27, 2016 at 9:05 pm #717491Hi
As per my last comment, the bit of CSS seems to have fixed the issue.I was asking why/how was it broken from other releases, it worked ok from 3.3.x, but from 3.7.x it was broken, why

AleksNovember 29, 2016 at 5:04 pm #718354Hi,
this can be caused by 100 different things. Most importantly is that it’s fixed not.
Let us know in a new ticket if you have some more questions related to the theme. We are happy to assist you.

AndyNovember 29, 2016 at 5:10 pm #718365Hi Andy,
I’m not sure I believe it could be caused by 100 different things. We have done extensive testing with different releases starting with 3.3 all the was up to 3.8. The test was only the theme with no plugins. And the problem seems to have started from 3.7.
Please explain your 100 different things.

AleksNovember 29, 2016 at 5:37 pm #718388Hi,
we can’t explain it to you. It seems that you don’t understand how the world of WordPress is working in general. Have in mind that there is no single developer, but hundreds of different ones. If one thing changes (a plugin update, WP update or theme update), then this will have an effect on all other components. But as every component has it’s own developer and every developer is cooking their own soup, issues and conflicts can arise. It would be impossible for us to find out the root of it, as it would be very time consuming. Feel free to hire a freelance developer for this job though: http://kriesi.at/contact/customization

AndyNovember 29, 2016 at 6:41 pm #718433Hi Andy,
I’m not going to get into an argument about this. But i must say you didn’t clearly read my last message. NO PLUGINS just the THEME. also the same WordPress version. Do you understand this ???
In any case we are WP developers and have a vast knowledge on writing plugins and customising WordPress.
I would like to have kriesi’s email to make a formal complain about your last message: quote “It seems that you don’t understand how the world of WordPress is working in general”. We currently look after 4500+ WordPress site and our world of WordPress is real.
