Checkout button gone from cart

We are on hold for going live due to this issue and was hoping it could be looked at as soon as possible, thank you !

Basically our issue is with the disappearance of the checkout buttons (including Paypal express on the cart page) after hiding the checkout button from the drop down hover cart menu using this code

.dropdown_widget_cart .buttons {
	display: none !important;
}
