I would like my youtube videos to popup on a light box like it does when I link from the footer. My site is linked below. Please click “watch our book trailer”. I would like the other videos on the main body of the page to do the same thing. They currently play in their spot as is.

VinayYes, exactly! The link in the footer looks and works great. My question is how do I make the videos in the body behave the same way as that link in the footer?
(hosted on WPengine) alt="" />Here is another example. On this page the link has the video appear in a lightbox (which is what we would like) but the video plays in place. I would like when clicked on the video that it would behave the same way as the link (in a lightbox)

It appears you are using a video element which is working as intended to.
To open video links in light box please add the videos in the below format.
