Hi, all my images have the size of 1024*684 px. Within the general settings of wordpress I have chosen for the mid-size of an thumbnail 300*200 Px. If I upload an image and choose this image for a single post the thumbnail size is always 300*300 Px. Is this possible to change this.
August 29, 2016 at 12:31 pm #678825I have tried several things over the weekend, but it doesn’t work. My old theme has the following upload sizes:
50*50
85*85
100*100
125*125
170*170
180*180
300*200
600*300
620*260
768*513
1024*684If you have a look at my webpage you see that all images are from the old theme except the post “Sportabzeichen”.
You see the different size on my start page and on the archive page. I want the new uploaded files in the same size as it was before.
For me it’s not so easy to describe the problem. I know how to change the upload size within the functions.php but I’m not sure what would be the correct upload size, or are there other parameters to change this.August 29, 2016 at 1:56 pm #678888Hi,
Password is needed to see your pages.
Try the following:
1. Install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
2. Go to Settings > Media
3. Change needed image sizes (increase its width / height).
4. Regenerate the thumbnails by clicking the button at the bottom.Best regards,

August 29, 2016 at 3:41 pm #678987Hi Yigit,
sorry but this not solving the problem. I have attached the password so that you can have a look at it. All other images from the previous theme have the correct preview image. Only for new posts and images I have the problem the the preview image is in a different format. Maybe this is belonging to the new raster layout.August 30, 2016 at 8:04 pm #679652Hi Yigit,
it’s working. I have changed the portfolio size to the correct format and now everything is fine. You can close this topic.
Thanks
