After the auto update to 4.6, my client’s website is now a white page. I’ve tried deactivating all plugins to no avail. However when I change to another theme (2016) the site is there (looking dreadful). I have Enfold 3.7.1 running, and according to support there should be no issues. Should I reinstall Enfold again fresh? How can I get them back online??
August 25, 2016 at 2:07 am #677293UPDATE: strangely, once I activated 2016 and 2015, then activated Enfold, it slowly came back to life. Not sure what happened, but it seems to be working now!
August 25, 2016 at 2:30 am #677294mine disappeared too. what do you mean by 2016 and 2015?
August 25, 2016 at 7:53 pm #677722it is blank again this morning!!!! :( I was changing themes to twenty sixteen and twenty fifteen (wordpress base themes)
August 25, 2016 at 10:09 pm #677767Hi!
Can you please post FTP and WP admin logins here privately so we can look into it?
Also, please make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme which is currently 3.7.1 – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/Regards,
YigitAugust 25, 2016 at 10:19 pm #677783I definitely am using the latest version, and will include the info in the private feed. Interestingly, it seems with an older version of Enfold, the site works…

August 27, 2016 at 1:19 am #678360just tried deleting Enfold and reinstalling a fresh version. It worked on multiple browsers, then stopped working again. Not sure why it comes up and works, then stops *argh*
August 28, 2016 at 9:08 am #678594This is the error message I am getting (after timeout)
504 Gateway Time-out
The server didn’t respond in time.August 29, 2016 at 1:49 am #678716I am currently building a temporary page with another theme and it is working just fine. I really really want to keep using Enfold (not just because the entire site is coded in it) as it is user friendly, developer friendly, and my client knows how to use it.
August 31, 2016 at 3:48 pm #680044Hi,
please ask your host if they are using any caching on your server and if yes then tell them to completely deactivate it.
Best regards,
AndyAugust 31, 2016 at 9:30 pm #680333Unfortunately that did not work. Host ran a check and all seems fine. I tried creating a fresh install of WP on my testing server (running 4.6 of course) and I could not install the latest Enfold theme. (“Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again”) I tried using an older testing site running WP 4.4.4, but again it would not install. Is there a problem since I only have one license of Enfold that it will not load again?
I just signed up for 6 months of support, please please help me get this taken care of! I am in danger of being fired from this job if I cannot get the site back online.

September 6, 2016 at 8:07 am #682492Hi,
For some reason, the site is not loading properly on our end. Is this a shared hosting? Did you try to increase the memory limit to at least 128M? http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/
Best regards,
IsmaelSeptember 6, 2016 at 11:43 pm #682895I changed the memory to 128M but still nothing. Did you transfer the site to your server to try? I cannot understand why it will not work :(
September 12, 2016 at 12:28 pm #685029Hi,
Your website seems to work fine again. Could you fix it?
If not then please always answer all of our questions, so again: Is this a shared hosting?
Best regards,
AndySeptember 12, 2016 at 8:22 pm #685340I actually hired a programmer to fix it. I see that you have released a new update, but I need to check with the programmers to see if what they have done will conflict.
The hosting is WordPress Premium Hosting on goDaddy. It allows two websites on the one host, so maybe that is shared hosting?
September 13, 2016 at 12:50 pm #685710Hi,
yes and this might cause the issue, because then you might need more than just 128MB. Glad the programmers could help you.
Best regards,
Andy -
