Problems with pagespeed

Dear Enfold support,

We’re online since a week with this great theme. Now we’re up and running I’ve tested the pagespeed of our website (see private content for link).

Our score is only 39% for mobile and 45% for desktop. I thought Enfold was a very fast WordPress theme.

How can we optimize this? I’ve read some topics where BWP Minify is suggested but this plugin hasn’t been updated for over a year.

On these topics I’ve read stuff like this:

I have tried a TON of plugins, with combinations, exclusions, etc- and none of them work. Most of them break the theme- it seems the theme CSS cannot be minified or the header or footer without things not working correctly. Using Async on the JS causes the icons and bars to not load correctly.

However there is still not “one easy way” in simplifying the Enfold theme while this must be one of the key aspects of the theme, right?
