    Hi guys,

    I’m trying to achieve a lay-out as shown in the screendump (http://imgur.com/a/LQHJl). I could use a lot of extra div’s or shortcodes, but that won’t be very user friendly for my client when managing the content later. So to make it happen, I thought it’s best to make use of the full with separator as shown here: (see private content). I gave the separator a class (for explanation purposes it’s now black) but it only changes the bit between the padding in the white area. Any ideas on how to approach this or is there a better solution hidden somewhere?

    Help is much appreciated, as always.

    Regards,

    Steven

    Hey,

    Not sure how we can help you with this, the link you posted looks exactly as the image, can you post a screenshot of the backend perhaps?

    Best regards,

    Hi,
    That’s correct. I kept on trying and figured out how to solve the problem. In the end I inserted a full width separator, gave this <hr> a class and styled it like this:

    .separator_events {background:#eae3e3; margin:20px 0!important; left:-100%!important; width:300%!important; height:40px!important;}

    It seems to work for me. Or is there a better solution?

    Cheers,

    Steven
