    Hi Kriesi team,

    I have an issue with the scroll down arrow in a colour section. It simply don’t scroll down the page, instead, if I’m a bit down on the page and click it, it scrolls BACK UP to the top…

    Could you please help me with this as I have to launch this website very soon.

    Thank you very much in advance.

    E.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the details, could you try updating to the latest version of the theme (3.7.1) to see if that helps please? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Hi,

    The section”why-choose-atlas” and the succeeding sections are outside the main container. That’s why the next arrow is not working. We moved the headline rotator and the full width button inside a color section then added this in the Quick CSS field:

    #crm-erp .template-page, #crm-erp .container {
        width: 100%;
        max-width: 100%;
        padding: 0;
    }

    #crm-erp .av-rotator-container {
        top: 40px;
        height: 100px;
    }

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Actually, I just figured out what the cause of issue was at the first place.

    So, the structure on my page was as follows:

    1. Color section (with video background) – displayed on desktop only

    2. Full-width button (“crm/erp”) – displayed on mobile only

    3. Headline rotator – displays on both mobile and desktop devices

    When I added custom CSS class to the full-width button, to make it displayed only on mobiles, as a replacement of the color section above (video banner), the scroll down button still tried to scroll down to the next section, which was the full-width button (#crm/erp), as despite not being shown on desktops, it was still considered as the next section. When it tried scroll down to it, there was no content to be displayed, as the FW button (“crm/erp) is set not to show on PC. Therefore, it scrolled back up to the starting position.

    I have overcome this issue by re-organising these elements, so that the FW button is now under the headline rotator, so regardless of the device, it scrolls down to this.

    To be completely honest, I would prefer it to be the other way around, as on mobiles it would look better having the FW button first, then the headline rotator. Is that possible, to make the scroll down button “realise” that the next section (FW button) is invisible and due to that it shall scroll down on to the next (actually visible) element?

    If not, it is something I can live with, but I can easily imagine that other have the same issue/need, as it would give better control on how sections appear on different devices.

    Please let me know your thoughts on this.

    Anyways, thanks again for your help and the excellent theme too.

    Best,

    e.

    Hi,

    I’m glad that you found another workaround but I think it is working when I leave it the other day. Anyway, if this is working better for you then great. :)

    Best regards,
    Ismael
