    Hi,

    I was hoping someone could help me. My website isn’t live yet, so I can’t show you exactly what I want to happen. So I’ll explain it:
    I have a list of icons on each of my product pages, and I want one of the icons to direct the customer to a mailto: email
    When I set the link manually, and set the link as ‘mailto: (Email address hidden if logged out) ‘ it opens outlook and an email, but the address in the ‘To’ section is ‘mailto: (Email address hidden if logged out) ‘ and the email won’t send.
    I have tried lots of different approaches (including (Email address hidden if logged out) “>Send mail), but I can’t manage to get the icon to link to a new email.
    I have settled by adding the email link in the ‘List Item Contents’ but I would really like the whole icon to work as a link.

    Hi Sally!

    When i enter the link as (Email address hidden if logged out) without “mailto:” it does work fine on my end.
    We are going to need to login to your site to look further into the issue. Please create a temporary admin login and post it here privately when you launch your website.

    Hi,
    Thanks for your question, email addresses are recognized automatically, so just use the email address and the mailto is not needed:
    2022-08-18_001.jpg
    in my test this works correctly
    2022-08-18_002.jpg
    please give this a try.
