Hi there,
I seem to be experiencing issues with the theme not displaying correctly in IE 11. I’ve disabled all of the plugins ( Please see attached screenshot https://www.dropbox.com/s/1na2iy7lcoh3q6a/plugins.jpg?dl=0 ) tp see if this makes any difference but it still displays strangely (Please see attached screenshots https://www.dropbox.com/s/pobl5fs44zrcolc/layout-2.jpg?dl=0 , https://www.dropbox.com/s/rit3gvwqocg7w5f/layout.jpg?dl=0)
Would anyone be able to advise why this might be happening or if there’s something else I need to investigate?
Kind regards,
Steffen
July 24, 2016 at 2:38 pm #664361Hey steffen_aufatz,
sorry for the delay, thank you for the screenshots. I checked the theme in IE 11 and it appears there is an issue with the CSS. If any custom CSS was added in child theme or in Quick CSS, please remove it and check if the issue persists in IE 11. If it still does we need to take a closer look at the setup. Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
Login credentials include:
- The URL to the login screen.
- A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
- As well as a password for that username.
- permission to deactivate plugins and add custom code if necessary.
Best regards,

July 25, 2016 at 9:29 am #664494Hi,
The theme name was spelt wrong it’s been corrected from “Theme nmae” to “Theme name” in the child theme styles.css which was causing an issue in IE.
Some theme settings may have to be reapplied. you can access the child theme styles.css from Appearance > Editor and change the theme name spelling back to “theme nmae ” it might activate the old settings.
please check the site now.
Thank you for using Enfold.

July 25, 2016 at 2:37 pm #664659Hi Vinay,
Thank you for that. That’s very interesting. I’ve renamed the child theme style.css back to “Theme nmae” to activate the old settings which seemed to work but by doing so will this cause the same issue again in IE?
Kind regards,
Steffen
July 25, 2016 at 3:54 pm #664707Hi Vinay,
Just disregard the last question. I’ve reapplied all of the settings using the correct spelling i.e. “Theme Name” and will see how this goes in IE.
Regards,
Steffen
