    Hello,

    First I tried installing the enfold.zip directly in WordPress and got an error 500.
    Then I tried loading the unzipped folder up via FTP in wp-content/themes. The upload works, but there is no theme showing up when I reload the theme page.
    Then I tried to upload enfold_child.zip as well via WordPress. The installation process itself workd but then WordPress says: Error – parent theme not installed. So I removed the child-theme again.
    The last since I did is removing everything and reinstalling the unzipped enfold-folder via FTP. Still no theme showing up when I reload the themes page in WordPress. I did everything like described in this video http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-over-ftp/

    I don’t know what’s wrong and I tried several things. My boss says, if we can’t get this theme to work very soon he wants to cancel the order. I’m trying to get this to work for more than a day.

    Hey eulet22,

    Can you please post WP admin logins here privately as well?
    Also, please upload the latest version of enfold.zip file somewhere on your server and tell us where so we can try installing the theme for you

    Hi,
    I posted the login dates for you. I get get a connection to the webserver right now because of the network settings here and I have to contact the administrator. But the unzipped enfold-folder ist still in the wp-content/themes folder.

    EDIT: The ZIP file is uploaded wp-content/themes now!

    Thank you! Apparently the webhoster gave me the wrong ftp-data, because we have both websites hosted there.

    I managed to install it on codelabs.at now via FTP. But for some reason when I try to activate the automatic updates in “LayerSlider” by pasting in the purchase code I get an error notice like this:
    “our purchase code appears to be invalid. Please take special care to enter it correctly without accidentally including spaces or other additional characters. Please note, this feature won’t accept your theme’s purchase code. This also can be a temporary issue in our services. In that case please try it again in a few hours.”

    Is this because we bought this last week and it did’t get activated yet?

    I’ll put the correct FTP Data and the purchase code into the private content field.

    But the template itself works fine now. Thank you!

    Hi,

    Glad that you managed to install the theme. The layer slider plugin is included in the theme by default so the license is not going to work. You have to disable the default layer slider first before installing it as a stand alone plugin. Please follow the instructions here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/deactivate-the-layerslider-plugin/
