Video backgrounds misbehaving in Internet Explorer + unstable load

Hi there,

The page consists for 5 color sections with video backgrounds from Vimeo. It works just fine on other browsers, a bit on the heavy side, but works.

1. Internet Explorer
I am using color sections with video backgrounds and encounter heavy issues in IE.

Refreshing fixes it. But I can’t really have such a jaggy user experience where it only works half of the time. Also, in IE the quality of the video is substandard, with jaggy edges.

What to do?

2. Unstable load
In all browsers there’s a risk that not all video backgrounds start auto playing. By refreshing it normally works. Why doesn’t it auto play and how can I force it to do so?
