    Hi,

is it possible within Enfold, that the content area overlaps the header area?
    something like this (illustrative example):

    Hey Uwe,

Thanks for getting in touch with us!

It is not possible to within Enfold theme options to have the content area overlapping the header area. This would require some amount of customization in order to achieve the layout you desire.

    Hi Jordan,

thank you for your response. Would it be possible to do it the other way around:

Overlay a picture which I put into the header “into” the content area”. So the picture is part of the header but “moved” down

I think this is possible for a logo to overlay into the header (I remember that I have seen something like that within another blog), Similiar now with a picture from the header “moved down” to overlay the content area.

    regards
    Uwe

    Hi,

Would you mind providing a precise link to your site, showing the elements in question? We need to be able to inspect them in order to help :)

    Hi,
i have not done any changes on my existing web page. I thought of “first ask” it this is possible before I spend a lot of time into something which will not work.

Just imagine to have a single picture (2000 * 1000) within the header (600 high) and therefor the picture will overlay by 400 the main content area

    Hi,

In the church demo, you’ll see a column with a negative top margin. Maybe, you can do the same with the image. http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-church/
