    Hey mogensmikkelsen,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

The widget is not displaying even on Chrome Windows 7. Is this the correct facebook page url? https://www.facebook.com/angstfri

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,

Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem. Also try switching temporarily to the WordPress default theme and see if the widget displays properly.

    Best regards,
    Jordan

    Hi

I tried to deactivate all plugins, but no effect.
I have tried all the default themes, but none have a facebook widget like the one in Enfold. The problem concerns the “Enfold Facebook Likebox”. Did I misunderstand your recommendation?

I have tried some combinations with different facebook pages:
IE and Chrome works with https://www.facebook.com/kriesi.at
IE and Chrome works with https://www.facebook.com/projektledelse/
    Only Chrome works with https://www.facebook.com/angstfri

Both https://www.facebook.com/projektledelse/ and https://www.facebook.com/angstfri/ is company pages.
This is really wired! Any explainations?

To test mere I tried a personal side: https://www.facebook.com/mogens.mikkelsen.54
Both IE and Chrome reports: “Error: Not a valid Facebook Page url.”
That fine, because this is a private FB page.

    Best regards, Mogens

    Hi,

We visited the facebook page but we got this:

Sorry, this content isn’t available right now
The link you followed may have expired, or the page may only be visible to an audience you’re not in.
Go back to the previous page · Go to News Feed · Visit our Help Center

It’s probably a privacy settings in the facebook page or a plugin is blocking it. Please try to deactivate all plugins as suggested above, remove browser cache or check it again on another browser.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

Ah! Now I realized what the problem was, that gave me strange test results when using different browsers :-)

The browser needs to be log in on Facebook, otherwise the “Enfold Facebook Likebox” just show a white bar. You might consider to include a text in the widgiet writing “no log on the Facebook”. Otherwise users not log on will not have the uppurtunty to like it (which is the pupose of the likebox).

    Thank you for the information

    Best regards, Mogens

    Hi Mogens,

Glad you got the problem figured out and thanks for the feedback, we’ll have a look at adding that if there is no logged in Facebook account.

    Thanks,
    Rikard
