I have a problem with the Contact page in the Enfold theme on one of my sites specified below. The “deliver to” email address specified below, but the messages only go to that address about half the time. The other times, they to me at the address specified below, which is also the email address on my WP Admin account.
I am using the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin for sending mail.
Please help.

VinayJuly 9, 2016 at 6:53 am #658704Thank you for your response, but that is not the problem. The problem is that the messages occasionally go to the wrong address. Instead of being sent to the email address specified in the Contact page, the message sometimes gets sent to one of the WP admin account addresses.

In the WP Mail SMTP settings, what is the email set as “From Email”? You should set it to ” (Email address hidden if logged out) ” or ask your hosting provider for the appropriate SMTP settings.

IsmaelJuly 13, 2016 at 6:30 pm #660527the From email is (Email address hidden if logged out) , which is the account that is used for SMTP authentication. The To email address is (Email address hidden if logged out) . The emails are sent, but they sometimes go to the wrong address.

I’m not sure what could be going wrong there but the actual delivery of the theme is up to the mail server with your hosting provider, maybe you could try contacting them to see if they can see what is going wrong?

He also says that there is no way that the Google SMTP mail server could change the destination email address. And I see that I am not the only one with this problem, as Haydenkirk posted the same issue on this thread above. What can you do to diagnose the problem?

The contact form wouldn’t be able to use the email address (Email address hidden if logged out) unless it is set somewhere. Did you set this email on the Settings > General > Email Address field?
