I have a clean install of WordPress.org and have just uploaded the Enfold theme via FTP. It’s working fine except that no images are displaying, either in the front end or in the Media Library in the backend. Could it be something to do with permissions on the Uploads folder? (All of the images seem to be in that folder.)

I’ve followed the steps in the notice about WordPress 4.5 (including adding the snippet to the end of the functions.php file. No success.)

    Thanks,
    Eoghan

    Hey Eoghan,

Thanks for getting in touch with us!

Ensure that all files have the correct permissions: https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions

Also could you please provide a link and login details to your site, so that we can have a closer look. You can place the information in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Best regards,

Thanks for the reply Jordan. I decided to uninstall both Enfold and WordPress and start from scratch, getting it working with just the vanilla installation before installing Enfold. All seems to be well now (after having set all files to 610 and all directories to 755 in wp-content).

    Eoghan
