    Hi,
    I would like to change the domain name of an existing site.
    Q. Is the enfold theme linked to a particular domain name for updates etc.
    If so, what is the best way to change the domain name and still use the existing enfold installation.
    If not, then it should be ok just change the wordpress database etc, right?
    Appreciate any suggestions or advice.

    we recommend to work with WP migrate DB plugin.

    Hi Andy,
    I don’t wish to migrate the site. The existing site is fine just need to change the domain name and name of site. This much simpler than migrating.

    So questions still stand.

    Hi,

    I think the easiest way of doing that would be to change the DNS settings for the site to point to the new domain, you might be able to do that in your hosting interface. If not then you would have to contact your hosting provider to get help in doing so.
