    Hello all,

there is a section “Interesting Links” in the footer of Enfold / Demo.

There is also the sentence “Bellow are some interesting links for you! Enjoy your stay”.

I want to change the Text “Interesting Links” to “Interessante Links” (= Translation to German language).

Where can I tell Enfold the links? I mean: How can I tell enfold which links to put onto the list of links?

It’s the same with “Latest News” and “Kategorien” in Footer: Where can I access them?

    Best regards
    Jorg

    Hey Jörg,

Thanks for getting in touch with us!

Please go to Appearance -> Widgets in your WordPress dashboard and then edit the Footer Socket widget areas. There you will see the different widgets you can edit.

    Best regards,
    Jordan

I went to Appearance / Widgets, there is no “Footer Socket” widget area. The word socket doesn’t even appear on the page. What am I missing?

    Hi Rikard,

I have a default installation of Enfold. I also have the Child theme which is the active theme.
At the bottom of the page I have a footer “INTERESTING LINKS” with text “Here are some interesting links for you! Enjoy your stay :”.

I want to change both “INTERESTING LINKS” and the text.

EDIT: I figured out that if you drag from the left hand side Text / Arbitrary Text to the Footer Column the text can be changed. Apologies am a bit rusty in WordPress.

    warm regards,
    Eugene

    Hi Eugene,

Thanks for the feedback, so I’m guessing you got it figured out? It’s not that easy to understand actually, the widgets are auto-populated by the theme if there is no content added to them.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Hi thanks Rikard I figured it out with a big of drag ‘n drop. Yes because the widgets have text already pre-populated, the tendency is to scour WordPress for the textual content.

    Hi Eugene,

I totally understand that, we made that choice since a lot of customers were complaining that the demo didn’t look “nice” out of the box.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
