    Hi,

    I have setup a child theme and all was running smooth. I am using the boxed layout and when I made a change to the theme settings the content container width switched to 1010px whereas in the settings it shows 1310px. I also have header link colours set to a #d7002b but they are displaying as is no css is being applied.

    All folders have the correct permissions and I have deleted the child theme css from the dynamic avia folder and regenerated it as per previous posts, also I’ve removed and re-uploaded the theme settings – still no joy.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey Rikard – login details as requested.

    I have since logging this ticket added some styles to my child theme css forcing the page to 1310px width – shall I remove these for your testing ?
    Nothing i change in the theme options seems to work at all.

    Hey!

    Can you please remove any custom CODE, disable all the plugins and give it a try again, letting us know if that works?
    Please if you have any cache plugin, please remember to disable it also.

    Hey Basilis,

    I have commented out all custom css, disabled all plugins – still the same result.

    With the css disabled the site is still 910px wide.

    I have left all plugins disabled for you to take another peek.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the delay. We checked the settings and confirmed that the Maximum Container width settings is not working. Please update the theme to the latest version, 3.6.1.

    Hi Ismael,

    I have updated to the new version and still no change. I switched back to the parent theme (new version) and all seems ok but if i then switch back to my child theme I loose control of the theme settings again.

    your thoughts ?

    Hi!

    Yes most probably, something of your customizations is creating problem.
    I do not think we can go through and dig inside all of them to fix them I am afraid.
    Do check at the functions.php file, the issue might be there.
