    Hi, since a few months i’ve got a problem to edit some pages, using the AVIA framework.

    sometimes the items (like “insert code block” for exemple) doesn’t work, or i cant change the parameters of a button…
    sometimes even, i do the edition of the page, but when i clic on update, the AVIA Framework crashes and when i come back to edit the page, only a few blocks are present: seems the frame work has started to save in database but hanged before the end of the process…

    It seem to happens when using sections and certain items inside (like iframes in “code inserter” item).

    It’s weird because, when i delete all content, then save and after i use the item that was not working alone in that page, it now works like a charm.

    I’ve done all that could be done : updated theme manually with ftp (even today and 3.6.1, the bug is still there), unactivated all plugins, unactivated cache, Hard refreshed after that, without success. using the tip to deregister jquery in function.php make the whole website crash, so i can’t experiment it…

    I would really like to solve that problem.

    Hey leoc26!

    The iframe issue is already known from Kriesi and he will do update and provide a fix soon enough.
    Please be patience till he manages to.

    Hi Basilis, thanks for your answer :)

    For myself, the bug comes even on posts with no iframes, it was an exemple.
    But maybe it’s the same cause.
    Could you give me a support post url that talk about that issue ? i searched for “iframe” and “iframe section” in the search bar, but i could not find a post taht was talking about that.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the detailed information, I tried doing what you wrote and I get the same error. I see some Javascript errors on the page afterwards: 

    avia-builder.js?ver=c20bb3c…:728 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property '0' of null

    Could you try disabling all plugins to see if one of them is causing a conflict? Also, please update the account you posted to admin so that we can see your whole installation.

    Hi Rikard,
    Thanks for you answer. As you can read, i’ve already done was you want me to, without success… Unactivated all network activated plugins an all plugins from the current site.

    You are now super admin :). Please be carefull to reactivate the plugins after your tests, as the sites are in production.

    Ok, could you please try to overwrite the theme files with a fresh copy from your Themeforest account via FTP to see if that helps? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

    Hi rikard,
    I’ve just done the overwrite, by FTP, 2 times :), and a Hard Refresh. Still buggy :(

    i’ve also renewed the support for the theme.
    Waiting for the next step :)

    Hi,

    We are trying to access the site but it’s not loading. Do you remember adding any html codes to the page? Unclosed html tags can break the shortcodes in the advance layout builder.

    Hi Ismael,
    Sorry for the lag of in my answers. Finally i finshed to create all the page from scratch.

    All was fine after that.

    Today my client has the same Bug “empty response” when updating. if she suppress the color section block, she can update. there was something in the content that was bugging when in the color section content.

    Bug N°2 : even after the section content is suppressed, she now can’t update the page if she paste text in a block text…

    Hi rikard, the problem is that only my client have the bug ; i can’t reproduce it by pasting text on my computer ;(

    You may have the same result.
    however i give you the access.
