I’m not able to figure out why things (blog posts and images) are stretching beyond the browser window width.

I deleted all the demo posts except the new one that I added and the problem persisted. It’s seems to think 100% is more like 300%.

    Hey bluesbrush,

It appears to be a css conflict or a plugin conflict.

To check for css conflict please remove any custom css added to the theme in Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS or in child theme styles css and add it back on block at a time while refreshing the page to know which code is causing a conflict.

To find which plugin is causing the conflict please follow these steps:

    1. Go to your plugins page > Deactivate all active Plugins
    2. Update WordPress and Enfold to latest version if you have not.
    3. Make sure all the plugins are updated.
    4. If the problem does not persist when plugins are turned off, activate one plugin at a time and refresh until you find the plugin in conflict.

We await the results of your plugin compatibility test.

If you still have any issue Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    Login credentials include:

    • The URL to the login screen.
    • A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
    • As well as a password for that username.
    • permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.

    Thanks for your cooperation :)

    Best regards,
    Vinay

Thanks. I downloaded a new copy of enfold which updated my site from 3.5.3 to 3.6.1 and the problem is fixed. I had checked the theme options update tab and it indicated I was using the most recent version, even though I apparently was not. Is there a long delay or before the theme will indicate that an update is available or does it skip versions or what?

    Hi,

It’s great the issues is sorted. usually the update should reflect within 12 hours.

If you are not able to view the new update option please try this plugin to clear WordPress transients if you do not receive auto updates and make sure your API key is correct: https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/.

If it does not help, I am afraid you might need to update the theme manually – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

Unfortunately not all Server environments are able to make use of the auto update feature provided by ThemeForest :/

    Best regards,
    Vinay
