Hey guys! I was wondering if you could help me identify why the footer isn’t showing up on my portfolio pages. It looks fine everywhere but those pages. Thanks in advance for your help and all that you guys do!

June 10, 2016 at 8:11 pm #646322Hi,
I checked for the issue on the site. The footer is visible when the page height is relatively small as the browser window grows tall the footer hides behind another layer or so it appears. I tried to check for any conflict with the custom codes but I think you are using a plugin to add custom css and other codes ? may I know where I can access it please.
Best regards,
VinayJune 10, 2016 at 10:10 pm #646381Hey Vinay! Thanks for looking into this for me. I’m adding css to the child theme’s style.css. I’m using a snippet of code from the following post for the “reveal footer effect” : https://kriesi.at/support/topic/reveal-footer-effect/
Please note that the footer shows on all pages except for the portfolio post pages. I thought that the custom footer css might be conflicting with the css on the portfolio pages, but when I create an entirely new portfolio page with nothing on it, it still does not show the footer…so i’m thinking it just has something to do with the way the portfolio pages were coded by default.

We checked the links above and the footer container display on every page. Did you fix this? If not, please create a test page where we can see the issue.
Best regards,
IsmaelJune 14, 2016 at 7:50 am #647827Hi Ismael. The issue was due to the css from this post: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/reveal-footer-effect/
I’m still not sure why it wasn’t working on the portfolio pages but I added css to exclude those pages for the effect. Could you please leave this thread open though incase I need assistance with this in the future? Thanks!
