I’ve recently noticed some weird behavior with using Chrome for our website: onesourcebackground.com
My homepage should show a hero image with a tagline and button linking to another page. Then an arrow guiding visitors down the page to more content. Upon landing on the home page from Chrome, the tagline and button are missing or just the tagline shows. It’s there in Firefox and Safari. I’ve checked this with my Chrome and another team member’s chrome. They are on a PC and I am on a Mac. This team member ALSO has the same issue with our website while viewing in Chrome. And just like me, Firefox is rendering correctly.
I’m also noticing at times if I hover over the navigation on my home page, the text flickers on hover. It’s really weird. I’ve Googled this and I can’t find any reason why Chrome would do this. Everything is up to do date (Chrome, WordPress, Enfold). I’ve cleared my WP cache, cleared Chrome browsing history, etc. I even attempted to create a new Chrome browsing profile per this site: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/626aIaLs2Nw
With the new Chrome browsing profile, the tagline and button appear on home page. However, everything still flickers when I mouse over the navigation.
I don’t know if this is something with my site, Enfold capability with Chrome, individual user’s Chrome profile, etc. Looking for any answers/solutions!
June 3, 2016 at 7:33 am #642432Hi jend_onesource,
I see what you are describing on my end, image with button leading to a different page, on my end using Chrome. Could you post a screenshot highlighting the problem please?
Best regards,
RikardJune 3, 2016 at 3:38 pm #642585I did some more digging. And found this: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/ohe90d_je4I
Looking at my settings, my hardware acceleration was already disabled and I’m still getting flickering so I enabled it. Quit Chrome and reopened. Typed in my website url and so far so good. No flickering, tagline and button appeared. So I guess it’s a wait and see? I’ll keep you posted.
June 3, 2016 at 5:46 pm #642648This is so weird. Apparently, there is still an issue. When logged into our WP Dashboard and clicking on “View Site”, the tagline and button on the home page aren’t showing for Chrome, Firefox or Safari.
Here are the screenshots after logging into our WP Dashboard and clicking “View Site” from Firefox, Chrome, Safari:
Firefox:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B14n5RiCOyafbG80aFN6dldPUUk/view?usp=sharing
Chrome:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B14n5RiCOyafbW1qVlcwSjcxQ28/view?usp=sharing
Safari:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B14n5RiCOyafZ19yX21pYzUzVUk/view?usp=sharingThe tagline and button are there when not logged in from each of these browsers so at least visitors are still seeing this. Not sure if this is related to my initial inquiry or if this another issue altogether.
June 6, 2016 at 4:57 am #643252Hi,
It’s still displaying fine on my end. If we need to be logged in to be able to see the error we would need admin login details, please post them in private.

RikardJune 6, 2016 at 5:01 am #643254Hi,
We checked the site today and this is what we got: http://imgur.com/rnSPFFj
Please check if javascript is enabled in your browser. Have you check the site on another computer or network?

IsmaelJune 6, 2016 at 5:53 pm #643512Info provided. Still not showing tagline or button on home page as of this morning when logged into WP Dashboard. Envato just sent me a notification for an Enfold update – not sure if this update will fix all my issues.
LMK if you have any issues logging in.
June 7, 2016 at 6:26 pm #644257I’m still experiencing some weird things with my Enfold theme. Could someone please help? I still don’t see Special Heading elements while logged into WP Dashboard and viewing the page in question (Chrome & Firefox). Above it was the Home Page. Today I’m trying to design a landing page. I have a Special Heading Element on a Color Section. It’s not showing when I go to preview it. Kind of hard to tell if I like the looks of something in a draft if I the preview isn’t working.
Please advise.
P.S. I’m still on Enfold 3.5.4 as the theme update has not come through on my end as of today. Not sure if this update would fix some of these issues.

June 8, 2016 at 2:58 am #644461Hi,
Thank you for the info. We can’t reproduce the issue on our installation but we found a temporary fix and added it in the child theme’s style.css file:
.js_active .av-minimum-height .container { opacity: 1; }
Best regards,
IsmaelJune 8, 2016 at 4:01 pm #644928That did absolutely NOTHING.
Is there any other reason why I wouldn’t be able to view elements while logged into WP Admin? Again it’s happening across multiple browsers.
June 10, 2016 at 5:05 am #645988Hi,
Are you sure? We just checked the site today while logged in and this is what we got:
Please remove the goDaddy and browser cache or hard refresh the page.
