Dear sir, good morning.
Excuse me for my not perfect written English.
I’m little bit skilled with html and cms, even if I’m new in WordPress. I used joomla in the past, but this is only a terrible remembrance….
I would like to begin new website with a story of radio, etcetera.
The question is: how mach the website width has to be?
I saw that many website are about 1000px in width.
This seems to be not important question but, considering that all logo, images, contents will born for that width, I would like to avoid the chance to discover in the future that I choosed a wrong width.
What is your suggestion?

I think that is a decision you will have to make, you can try different width until you find something you like for example? In my opinion 1200-1300 pixels gives a modern impression though if that is the style you are looking for.

I appreciate your help, since I have been thinking you have forgotten me! :)
In the meanwhile, I have found some useful info on the web about width, with statistics of displays screen resolutions over the wordl.
It seems that with a width of 1310px I have choose, I can be visible by more than 60% displays, and, going on, more people will change their screens nowadays keeping better resolution screens.
So, your suggestion is welcome! I will proceed with 1310px.Thank you very much indeed.
