    Hi there,

    I’m on enfold 3.5.4 and wp 4.5.2 and jquery fix for wp 4.5..
    I need a custom sidebar for a custom post type and am trying to achive this with the custom sidebars plugin.
    Unfortunately, the plugin’s settings load screen gets stuck and the console throws a avia-google-maps-widget error (settings.data.search is not a function).
    Thanks in advance for any pointers to fix this.

    Alternatively, I could also use some code for functions.php to register a custom sidebar to be used for a custom post type.
    Something like in thislink, but for enfold.

    Hi,

    Can you please post the link to your page where we can see your sidebar?
    You can also try using this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic/ and add your widget to your “displayed everywhere” widget area and show them only on your custom post type using conditional tags

    Hi Yigit,

    Thanks for your response. I am able to achieve what I need with the plugin you suggested.
    So this issue is resolved.

    Regarding the custom sidebar widget, I never got to set it up properly because the problem happens in the admin/widgets section when I try to get to the settings, which I can’t access as they are stuck behind an infinite loading spinner.
