    Hello,

    I am using Enfold 3.5.3 on https://netknights.it.

    When use the search functionality the search works while typing in the search entry field.
    But when hitting enter or issuing the search, the search result page is empty.

    Hi Josue,

    thanks for the quick reply. This is interesting.
    If I am searching in the german page (switch with the little flag at top left side) I only get one result from the main page.
    (You can also search for privacy)

    Hi,

    Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    Login credentials include:

    • the URL to the login screen
    • a valid username (with full administration capabilities)
    • as well as a password for that username

    Let’s try discard more thing before, can you please check if the issue persists with the default WordPress theme activated?

    Hello Josue,

    ok. I checked with the 2016 theme. And indeed the search does not work with the default theme either.
    So obviously this is no issue related to your theme.

    But if you have any additional idea, I would be grateful to try it out.

    Hi,

    So I’m guessing you use a multi lingual plugin for your site? If so I would try contacting the plugin authors to see if they have a solution for you.

    Ok, I will investigate.

    But one thing totally anoys me:
    Can you tell me why ALL sidebar definitions in enfold are GONE when switching the theme and switching back?
    THis is a desaster to me. I have to go through the complete site and reassign sidebars!!!

    I consider this a bug!
    How can I avoid this?

    Widgets settings are bound to theme name, use this plugin to keep a backup of your Widgets:
